Most of Europe has consent age in the range 14-16. I think Cyprus is the outlier with 17. Most don’t have the equivalent of “Romeo and Juliet laws”.

That sounds really crazy. You can have sex at 15 where I live and that feels much saner.

Well, we might have a very different opinion of “perfectly well” but otherwise I agree.
