Hero, although I really wish there was a good source on her last words. Everywhere I look there is an almost completely different quote. Some say it was what is said here some say she said “the sun still shines” or “it’s still a beautiful day”

mekg8dzIt’s because the leadership of both parties has accepted bribes from the same people. Here’s how Bernie Sanders puts it:

mejrnveSanders IS in the leadership of the Democratic party.
He was the chair of the senate budget committee when the Democrats passed the IIJA, ARPA, and IRA. He also isn’t anywhere near the most progressive senator. If you actually watched any of the other people’s speeches, it’s basically the same shit. Elizabeth Warren says the same shit as Sanders every day.
The main reason he get spammed on the internet as much as he does (along with AOC) is because every time they starts trending with something critical of the Dems from the leftier side, bots and algo start boosting it.

You want one of our senators to get shot or arrested so that we have to convince two GOP senators to break party lines if we want to stop any trump bills?
Is this a bad faith argument by a bad actor who wants to keep progressives sitting out during elections, or do you just not understand politics?

mejovlxonly ~31 percent of the voting eligible public chose the democratic candidate last election. do you want them to pretend it was more? they’re not our elected leaders. this isn’t their movement. this is OUR movement. more of us should have stood with them in november if we wanted them to stand FOR us now. we already told them we weren’t interested in that. no take-backs.

don’t let a few words on the internet fool you into believing you have someone all figured out…

Civil disobedience can be extremely small. We saw the ex Viking Chris Kluwe do it, and his video was posted here a shit ton. The hypocrisy is crazy to me that they’ll celebrate civil disobedience being performed, but you can’t plan to do more?
This movement makes no sense to me, it’s full of contradictions

and we can all splooge whatever slop we want to on the internet for people to agree with. misinformation is the biggest problem. we can all research whatever but people will find different answers depending on their sources and the source’s bias

mejwaspwell they voted for this administration, and this is the kind of thing MAGA is doing. and i dont think it’s going to get any better as time goes on. they might “not want it” but it’s what they voted for. if they really really don’t want it they should consider joining a protest

This post is active measures or it might as well be.
Democratic leaders in Congress have an action plan spelled out. It’s on the web and accessible to even hateful mouth breathers who want nothing more than to sow discord and breed despair.
Here, for those who enjoy actual reading instead of hyperbole:

mejrmluAs was her brother Hans. Their “crime?”
Distributing flyers in protest of Nazi ideology.
Fun fact: the judge who sentenced them, Roland Friesler also sentenced many other dissidents in this way. He was killed in the court building by a B-17 bomber.
How fitting that he died in the same court where he sentenced hundreds to die for perceived crimes of speaking their opinion against the country’s fascism.

Fuck, this shit makes me think I need to write a letter to my young daughter…just in case I become one of the martyrs in this next victory over fascism.
Does anyone else feel this unwavering sense of duty rising up from deep within? I never even knew I had this place in my heart for my country as I know it. But here I am, struggling to go back to sleep most early mornings, because I can imagine the moment that I stand up and do the right thing, but lose my life for it.

mek19yvThese days I’m a bit of a conspiracy theorist, but I believe they are intentionally waiting until the government shuts down OR they pass the budget that will wake everyone up. If we are to overthrow the current administration and kick the king out of office, we need MORE people impacted by their nonsense. Remember: they already have their cult built.
Add: the left is still arguing about who the leaders are in our party and the far-left is trashing people in the party who share the same values. We are not ready, yet.
In addition: All the recent King Krasnov tweets seem to mock the people (SpongeBob meme list, saying he wants musk to go further, calling himself a king)… + all these town halls where GOP congressmen smile smugly… they are taunting us. They WANT us to make the first move. They are baiting us. Why?
Martial law.

mejk9ieI don’t think it matters to him. If Trump wants to do something, he just makes up an emergency. He has already done that 3 times so far, declaring an immigration emergency, energy emergency and the whole “fentanyl is crossing our borders!” thing.

mejw529I disagree with this conversation about martial law. He’s made it clear that if he wants to do something, he’s going to do it. So it doesn’t matter if we protest or not. They don’t need a reason in their minds.

mejlblyThey don’t need a reason in their minds
That is true, but even Putin felt the need to rationalize the invasion of Ukraine.
I agree that they’re looking for any plausible way to justify Martial Law, and they’ll make up the reason if they have to through a false flag incident.
