Roberto is a special case. For him it isn’t a choice, for microsoft it is.
That was the direction I was getting. Plus linux works fine without TPM 2.0, unlike windows 11. So no real need to axe existing hardware, and unlike the bad old days your hardware is likely well supported.
I took a couple years off of linux for the sake of gaming, but literally when those games could be run on linux i went back.
Started in 04. took a couple years off in the late 2010’s. It’s been a wild ride for me.

i realize your’e specifying chorded, but jlab retro rewind (second revision) is USB-C so would make an OK pair of backups or loaners. audio quality is ‘good enough’ but no it isn’t the same nor will I claim it is. I had a pair that’s still going decent after two years of abuse (and getting glued back together through said abuse,) that work well enough, but that pair’s micro-USB. New pair has a better feel, usb c, and some other longstanding nicities.
Not premium by any streach though.
Full disclosure: I’ve been part of that cluster of communities for a couple years now. Best advice i have to give to anyone is to take their time. The speed of conversation often slows way WAY down.
