It’s not even a simplification. It’s a bold-faced lie that pretends a lot of different opinions are the same.
1·4 months agoSo it’s a weird Catch-22, where only experienced users who know where all the menus are will know where the GUI options are, but it’s the new users who need it the most.
Nah. They don’t know it either.
You will use the terminal. And you won’t “level-up” into knowing the GUI. And GUI-focused distros are stupid for adding barriers over the terminal usage.
That’s mostly because too few people use them.
