Well, I only know that people who don’t end their sentences properly sound like rambling idiots.

I’ve contributed to PHP, one of the most widely used programming language on the web.
Felt really good to read someone else writing an explanation in the docs of what your contribution does.
Someone with enough access to the Lemmy server and many TOR nodes might, I guess. Just access to TOR shouldn’t be enough, as the connection to Lemmy is encrypted so they don’t know who logged in or what they accessed on Lemmy.
I think access to Lemmy alone would not be enough as well because just knowing that a user came through one TOR node doesn’t link it to other services. Many users use the same TOR node.
Danny DeVito might be a little too sexy, but I could see him as Trump.
Posted this the last time I saw this article, but it seems to be even more relevant for this video.
This will probably hit downstream users who don’t even know (or care) what service the application they use is hosted on.
Don’t forget the bedonk bedonk bedonk
Damn, Valve going against fan projects is really weird. Especially considering that most of their biggest games are former mods. And they let just about anyone do something in the Half Life universe.
Well, it was the smartest kids in our class at least. Or let’s say “kids with the best grades”. I think the driving factor was: Can these kids keep silent between the times when they get told about the stunt and when it actually happens?
Reminds me of the time my school staged taking away the smartest kids of every class to show how it was during Nazi times.
I’m especially proud of my brother who (aware that it was staged) said that we should protest and asked the teacher if they were allowed to go and rescue their classmates. The teacher said that it wasn’t supposed to happen but allowed them to go.
I see “your age” similar to the dating pool. It grows the older you get. When I was young my brother and his friends were incredibly old. But nowadays they are “my age”. I mean, my wife was literally born four days after my brother. That alone increased “my age”.
And when I look at the other parents I meet at my kid’s schools “my age” is an even bigger group. Add hobbies to that and it’s off the chart.
Not wrong at all. I got more than half of my jobs through former colleagues. That’s also one of the reasons I never burn any bridges when changing jobs. Especially former bosses are likely to call upon you when they change jobs.
If Bob feels wronged somehow take him out for a drink or dinner or so. Especially if you end up getting the job. To celebrate.
