I am sorry to tell you but it is going to be that way for much longer than four years, not that I think Trump will last more than four years he may but that is a question for later. I do however see the next administration holding a grudge against Canada for a much longer time as we do more to avoid the US as they have shown to be a less than favourable partner.

He believes there is a deficit because on the books the US is paying more to Canada than Canada is paying the US. He believes it should be the other way around, he is just forgetting that Canada sends more product down to the US so they pay Canada more.

This more product is oil and natural gas May I remind you that we sell it to the US at a discount.

I believe we need to finalize the CANZUK agreement, not join the EU.

We still depend on other countries for trade, however I do agree that we need to start doing more within our country to facilitate trade of finished products rather than parts of products.

I personally still have an account, I read somewhere when I was thinking of deleting my current account that keeping your account active cost the Zak and Meta money via ad stuff rather than closing it completely. No idea if that is true or if it is anything noticeable but I have all Meta things; ad trackers, ads, and the book of faces proper blocked via my pihole setup.

That is one thing I have not found a replacement for but is it worth having a Facebook account you continue to use just for that? Maybe you keep your facebook account but stop using it for anything but market place.

I have friends from decades ago, some of which I would message and months or in some cases years later I would get a message saying I do not really use Facebook anymore so we chat and I get new contact info.

Talk to the charities inform them that they are giving money away to the book of faces, and that money was used to elect Trump. Encourage them to move to something like mastodon. This goes for your mommy’s church as well, if they want to pay the Zak to get trump into office then they should continue to use the book of faces, if they do not want to support a guy who could not even put his hand on the bible when being sworn in to office.

I understand the meeting people where they are but remember your mental health is more important than other peoples, if that means stay on facebook so be it but just remember facebooks goal is to make you depressed so that they can give you the occasional dopamine hit so that you come back.

I personally had my pihole block ads on the book of faces, but now it blocks facebook all together.

This is the way, but more importantly get off of the book of faces.

You should really talk to them about moving away from the book of faces, tell them all they do is sell your data without getting any of the benefits. The book of Faces and the Zak used that data to pay for Trumps election.

Yesh I avoided it as well, never really thought of it as a store worth going to. I have never noticed a pharmacy in at least the one I have been in in Saskatoon.

I totally understand and appreciate that, the only pharmacy I could easily walk to/get to is a shoppers. However since 2020 many if not most pharmacies in at least my city have kept up with deliveries. Check out if there are better than Shoppers pharmacies in your area that do delivery.

As I write this I realize the delivery was probably happening prior to 2020, for the old folks.
