It’s not explicitly rightwing.
A couple years ago Musk was recommending Signal.
It’s just an example of right wing people recommending alternatives.
Yes but how could Ron never have seen a Galleon in his life and in the next book he has to buy textbooks worth like 40 galleon at the beginning.
She’s terribly ableist too. She made an entire book disparaging people with invisible disabilities.
JK Rowling just kind of improvised vis a vis the price of things over the series. Ie. in one book a galleon is a fortune where you can afford the entire snack cart and Ron has never seen that kind of money before with his own eyes, but then the next book the school books cost 5 galleons.
If you take a look at the most valuable thing in my appartment, that would seem to be the case

If on ios, Unwatched is my holy grail
So how do we combat a DDOS on truth.
Clearly the previous orders of “truth” were not perfect either, and it’s discontent at the elite and coverups which Musk and Trump and other neofacist populists have manipulated to fuel their attacks on the establishment’s regime of truth. Ironically they are replacing something bad with something far worse.
How can leftists take the discontent with the current elite’s regime of truth and use it for the better ie. recruitment?
Regimes of truth is a term coined by philosopher Michel Foucault, referring to a discourse that holds certain things to be “truths”. Foucault sought to explore how knowledge and truth were produced by power structures of society.[
I think server admins can access. It makes sense moderation wise, if for keeping a tab on alts for enforcing permabans.
Yes, but as long as you don’t reveal your identity, they can’t do much to track you.
They don’t have access to your IP.
Of course, it you’re using the same username over multiple services, or reveal identifying information (which is much easier to analyse now due to AI) they will be able to track you.
Yep. It was a feature people kept on shouting at the devs that they needed. The devs kept trying to explain how an open protocol works and that everything they post is open. But no one seemed to get it so they just added this feature with the caveat it only works for people using the Bluesky PBC’s app and website.
So many things:
Unwatched is great on ios.
It nearly 100% is.
They link to loads of russian propaganda websites.
Bluesky app is open source. I wonder if someone would try and replace the ATProtocol API endpoints with Mastodon ones.
