Big money first bloated up the industry and is now scooping it out from the inside until it collapses. Well, AAA and AA gaming anyways. I‘ve noticed I‘ve been playing smaller indie games for the most part in the last decade and I know why. It‘s not so much a deliberate choice but simply where talent and care has been moving towards.

US companies have done the same, although only as test dummies and it wouldn‘t surprise me if the same is true here and the vast majority of sever capacity remains above sea level. Chinese tech companies tend to overdramatize things because they know nobody reads up on fact checkers later. This is really just this week‘s „China is 50 years in the future!“ fluff story.
So rather than finally adding basic functionality for audibooks, which the app desperately needs, they’ll bloat their numbers with slop instead. But Spotify has always handled audiobooks exceptionally poorly so this is very on brand I guess.
To be fair. That kind of scam is as old as time. I mean many beggars will chew your ears off to get you to give them money. Many work in groups or are forced to to do it. Of course they‘re doing it on Faceboook too because that‘s where people‘s attention is nowadays but AI isn‘t really escalating the problem much. It‘s just shifting from one place to another.
It‘s so weird man. They say the government needs fixing but then vote for unhinged deregulation from the guy with the catch phrase „you‘re fired“.
That‘s like saying your roof needs fixing so you call a demolition company to tear your house down. What the hell did you expect would happen?
Honestly I think so many people are too misinformed or distracted to vote. I would genuinely suggest they stay out of the democratic process for their own good and peace of mind. They will only regret it anyway.
Human exploitation and subsidies are hardly innovative nor invented in China. All major innovations in EV are made in other countries for them. If anything, innovation puts you at the losing end because China will just copy you cheaper.

Stories like these sound wild to most people but sadly they happen all the time. It‘s literally how Google got this big. Still makes me mad how they robbed and trolled Terravision out of their code now known as Google Earth. Not like it‘s a flagship for Google or money maker but they still literally stole the code via hard drive like they stole from so many others. The tech world is full of absolute asshats leeching off of the most talented. It‘s very evident in today‘s tech culture full of crypto, AI and whatnot.
