Nice to have all the piece of shit countries highlighted in one table.

Not really sure who this is for. With soldered RAM is less upgradeable than a regular PC.
AI nerds maybe? Sure got a lot of RAM in there potentially attached to a GPU.
But how capable is that really when compared to a 5090 or similar?
There’s been a handful but nothing I could name off the top of my head and the specs meant anything more impressive than Super Meat Boy might be out of the question.
Just cheap crappy Windows 8 tablets for the most part, with controller buttons tacked on.
The PEGI management board is people that publish games, people that make consoles and trade organisations.
None of whom want to see sales go down.
They’re behind the bonkers decision that representations of gambling are worse than actual gambling.
PEGI mainly exists to save publishers bothering with each country’s classifications boards. Before that you’d have like BBFC in the UK, and each country having to rate it. It’s industry self regulation, and like any good fox guarding the henhouse, they’re not doing a great job of it.
The publishers own PEGI.
Whatever rating they want, they get.
“Sorry, it’s literally impossible for us not to sell your data!”
I wouldn’t mind these apps if there was actually a technical need for them beyond just being a Chromium component, but with added data slurping and pointless notifications.
If I have to use an app to use your product/store, I won’t use your product/store, with a side helping of go fuck yourself on top.
Jellyfin seems solid.
The only issues I’ve had are with dodgy media files. Obviously better player hardware gets you better performance, but transcoding eliminates some of those issues.
But Nvidia have clearly sold them the chips and told than that some of those cores aren’t working. And they said OK and hoped nobody would really notice.
God, I hope not.
I figure there’s a reason that Zotac and PNY are always the cheapest cards. No idea why anybody would care about the tiny saving if they’re wasting $2k on a GPU…
They know how to meet climate goals.
They’re just not sure how to do it while keeping power centralised in the same hands that currently hold it.
It usually comes with a price “update”
