    Yes, but I’d rather they gave that money to any of the groups working to stem the US slide into fascism.

    Sorry, but I’m a little sick of this performative “#NotAllYanks” bullshit coming from vaguely leftist Americans who want to reassure us that they’re not all terrible people.

    I’m sure the knowledge that some good Americans exist will make me feel so much better when US tanks roll into my town.

    They’re not doing this bullshit for us, they’re doing it for themselves. We are under no obligation to humor their need to salve their guilty consciences.

      It’s like they are apologetic for what is about to come, rather than trying to stop it.

      Give the money to grassroots resistance, folks. Look around, we are legion but poor.

      Yeah I can agree with that.

      Although I don’t see the need to be reductive as people’s public support is still important.

      They definitely could’ve spent their money towards better areas like non-profit organizations. Perhaps they might not have known better, it’s hard to say without asking them.

      What I’m trying to say is let’s try and support each other as attacking supporters doesn’t help anyone but the asshole at the top/(in this case assholes being Trump & Elon)
