He lives over an hour away in a very rural, sparsely populated area with lots of farms and is unsurprisingly very red. While the counties with the larger cities he represents mainly do vote red overall, the gap is narrowing. In my city of 30,000 the Dems won every single race this past election. He is completely out of touch with nearly half of his constituents, and I think this is a big problem in lots of areas because of gerrymandering.
