Many times they did. They signed hundreds of treaties, and we’ve violated almost every one of them.
This can be read completely opposite ways depending on one’s starting perspective.
Fourth panel e.g.: “And how did the native peoples’ failure to enforce border integrity work out for them?”
Yeah they’d just be like “So you admit it’s an invasion???”
Colonists aren’t us. We aren’t them. We don’t have to pay for their sins. It was a vastly different time back then, and the rules have changed. The same way I’m not responsible for slavery. I don’t owe anyone for the sins of my (fore)fathers.
Go look at other countries immigration laws, and many of them are much worse than ours. Every civilized nation has them, and using emotional weaseling doesn’t absolve people of needing to meet those requirements.
Nah, we didn’t do those things. But if you know about them and don’t help to right the wrongs committed then that have very real consequences in modern times then you’re a weak bitch.
Nobody gives a crap about the emotional manipulation that your type so often employs. Calling names doesn’t change the fact that we’re not responsible for the things that happened in the past. We’re not required to 'right the wrongs committed" because we didn’t commit them.
That would be like jailing someone’s family because the father stole bread to eat. That’s not justice.
^weak bitch mentality. Whatever son, we will go ahead and pick up your fucking slack like we always do while you play the victim like you always do. But don’t expect us to respect you while we do it.
play the victim like you always do
Bit of projection there, don’tcha think? Isn’t that exactly what you’re doing here? Saying that you’re a victim and need people to “make it right”? Nahhhh fool.
You’re not smart enough to make the point you’re trying to make. Have a good life bud.
That’s what I thought. Bork bork.
