Leftists, being anarchists, Marxist-Leninists, communists, socialists, and everyone left of the Democrat party basically, have been systematically censored, stifled, and talked over. The general protest body, being “grassroots” has been conceding power to a hierarchy of organizers and leaders, and these organizers, mods and admins have been marginalizing more radical thought.

When are y’all gonna stop censoring the more extreme allies you have on the left? It’s very much a lie to call yourselves “big tent” while only maintaining a platform for centrists.

I am not a spoke-person for the movement

    But here’s some consensus:

There is definetly criticism to be made about leadership. However, any serious leftist should know that they can’t just come into an explicitly peaceful movement and start agitating for violence. Not only is it dumb and likely to get you ousted, but it’s dangerous and irresponsible, both to the safety of its members and the public perception of the movement itself. — VioletVixen

While I do have concerns over our more left wing allies being dissuaded from speaking up, I recognize that they often come in swinging with pretty drastic rhetoric. I do think that we need to make some big changes in general if we get the chance, but we can work together to make those changes as a people — yersin1962

Big tent ultimately does mean you can’t hold extremism. Socialists, anarchists, communists and all are free to participate. But the goal of the movement isn’t anything extreme (stop executive overreach). and that’s what is going to be worked on. Most people are on the center. So ultimately, that group has a little more leeway in how the movement goes, since the center represents the majority of the movement, and also the majority of the population in general. I very likely have views that are disagreed on by the majority of people here, but those views have no importance because it’s not related to the idea of stopping executive overreach. — kaishamarket

I believe in inclusivity and I doubt the movement is censoring anyone, its just talk about violence when the movement is peaceful is not generally tolerated. Figuring out how to accept everyone without changing the movement is to given a serious thought. This is a grass-root movement and there will be growing pains. I hope you understand.

Why such a heavy focus on violence? I didn’t even mention it, I’m just talking about stuff like Mutual Aid being an anarchist concept (coopted by many liberals) and other things like that. The fact that everyone you quoted equivocated radicalism with violence is telling.

Because it comes with the territory and the optics of being in those groups. I do not think anyone really said we are excluding all these other groups that is aligned to the leftist ideology. You are just assuming here, not sure why.

Because all you do is sit and complain on social media all day, trying to show how cool and “progressive” you are, when you’re the same type of moralizing, self-righteous, self-assured of your own “victory”, cult-like asshole that a lot of us of us left the Church over.

Because you don’t care about our friends and neighbors, communities of color, women, or the neurodivergent. You made that clear by sitting out the election and letting Trump win.

Because You want to “tear the system down,” which will only harm the marginalized communities you claim to care about.

Because you don’t care about making things better for the people who live here since you think everyone, including the communities of color, LGBTQIA+, neurodivergent, and disabled people who have to live here, are all “imperialists” who deserve to die.

Because you read a book on Marx one time and think that suddenly makes you immune to greed, graft, corruption, and being hungry for power, when history suggests communist regimes are just as rife with corruption and poverty as any capitalist society and the robber barons become The Party rather than The Rich.

Because the Communist Manifesto was written in 1848 and has as much applicability on modern politics as the Bible: NONE. You’re as out of date as capitalism and you’ve already collapsed once.

Because you justify your actions by saying “hurr durr both sides bad” and “hurr durr America always been like this” when you know that excuses Trump, enables fascists, and demotivates anyone who might want to make this country a better place.

Because you complain about other people “failed you” when you don’t have an actionable plan of your own that’s better.

And most importantly, as an autistic person, the vast majority of you believe in anti-vax bullshit about “vaccines cause autism”, so you closet eugenicists can go to hell for that.
